Ms. Kim

Hi, I’m Kim Judge, most referred to as “Ms. Kim” to all of my clients!

I am going on my 22nd year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I spent my first role as an SLP working with adults in both acute, sub-acute, and outpatient settings. After becoming a mom of premature twins; however, my first-hand struggles to feed my preemie babies and foster their development molded the path moving forward with Twin Talkers, S.C. established soon after that!

Over the past 17 years running Twin Talkers, S.C., I have centered my clinical time servicing children between the ages of birth to age 7. I have worked collaboratively with multidisciplinary therapists to gain a deeper foundation of children’s special needs, and because of this, I wholeheartedly embrace and implement a multi-sensory approach to addressing communication challenges, feeding difficulties, and neurodiverse learning styles.

I believe that there is a strength to be found within every child at every stage of their leaning process. Although there is no “cookbook” approach to therapy, following a child’s lead using a multi-sensory approach to learning will always help you understand why a child needs what he or she does! That and when in doubt, music, movement, and song is always the trick!

In my spare time, you can find me on my Peloton bike or something involving movement, whipping up yummy homemade treats, walking my dog, or remodeling my home (again) inspired by a random HomeGoods haul!

Ms. Emily

Working with littles is my jam! I am proudly devoted to Early Intervention full time! I service CFC 5, 15, and 20 offering both in-person and video sessions. I provide services for speech, language and feeding. As a clinician, I believe every child has individual and unique strengths. Through play based therapy, I desire to empower caregivers with strategies to support functional skills in both communication and throughout mealtime.

In my free time you can find me sipping some coffee or tea and reading a great thriller. I look forward to working with you!

Ms. Areeg

My name is Areeg and I graduated from Lewis University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. I am multilingual (English, Arabic, and ASL.)

I love working with pediatrics and believe in highlighting my client's strengths to target areas for progress, growth and overall development. Eating, thinking and communicating are so important in our daily lives and I love that I get to treat all three working with my clients and their families!

When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, shopping, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Laura

I have been working in Early Intervention for 12 years offering both in-person and video sessions. I provide services for speech, language and feeding. I started my career working at an Early Childhood center and later transitioned to the elementary school level where I worked with children K-5th grade for 5 years.

After having children of my own, I decided I wanted to branch out and try working in Early Intervention. It was a perfect fit from the start! Over the years, I have loved watching children attain new skills and supporting families with strategies to help their child be the most successful. It is nice being able to focus on each child individually to help them achieve their goals. I also enjoy being able to collaborate with other team members from different disciplines which in turn has helped me grow into a well-rounded therapist.

This year, I am excited to be stepping into a new role as a mentor! It is a great opportunity for me to pass along any knowledge and skills from my experience working in Early Intervention for so many years.

In my spare time I enjoy going for a run or walk and spending time with my family.

Ms. Nicole

Nicole is excited to be a part time therapist for Twin Talkers! She completed her undergraduate degree at UW-Whitewater and masters degree at Northern Illinois University.

Nicole loves helping others, and is passionate about building positive and supportive relationships with the clients and families she serves. Nicole’s experience includes working with children ages 18 months-18 years old, all with a variety of diagnoses and speech therapy goals. She loves the balance that working in Early Intervention brings after a long day in the schools. She current serves families in-home in Mchenry County, and a variety of others through LVV.

When she isn’t working with her families, Nicole loves all things outdoors - traveling with her husband, walking the dog, reading on the deck, and boat rides at her family’s lake house in the summer!

Ms. Sydni

Hello, my name is Sydni and I’m so excited to join Twin Talkers as a clinical fellow! I recently graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

I have a passion for expressive and receptive language, feeding/swallowing and social skills. I look forward to enhancing my clinical knowledge and establishing rapport with my clients!

Ms. Colleen

"Hi, I’m Colleen! I’ve been a Speech Pathologist for over 10 years working in a variety of settings including clinics, schools and hospitals. I started my career working in a clinic and school setting focusing on speech, language and literacy.   After a couple of years, I transitioned to the hospital setting where I’ve had the pleasure of working in the NICU supporting infants and their families on their feeding journey and working with children birth to eighteen with feeding and swallowing disorders.

Since having my own kids, I’ve developed a new appreciation for incorporating therapy into the wild ride that is parenthood. The absolute best part of my job has been empowering families to feel confident in taking the lead with supporting their child’s development and I’m thrilled to be continuing the journey through Early Intervention via LVV and in home visits.

In my spare time you can find me hanging with my family, making travel bucket lists and getting creative in the kitchen!
